I spent three days shooting in Madison this weekend including one night sleeping on the marble floor of the rotunda. Its a pretty incredible scene. I've never witnessed a protest on this scale go on with such a high level of mutual respect between the protesters and police force. Things got pretty tense Sunday though when police announced that anyone remaining in the building after 4 p.m. would be arrested. The time came and went, however before the police officially relented and hundreds of protesters settled in for yet another night in the Capitol. The Daily's Jessie Van Berkel has the full story here.
